Which surface is suitable to walk rough or smooth ? Why?

✔✔ on rough surfaces irregularities of surface cause an interlocking due to which it creates more friction and as smooth surface has very less irregularities so it can move easily and hence less friction✔✔

It is suitable to walk on rough surface than to smooth surface because the friction is more in rough surface than smooth surface. So it would be easy to walk on rough surface. On the other hand, as there is less friction in smooth surface, we can't walk properly on such surface.
