can add it above the arrow or the equality sign. Some textbooks tend to
do that and it is widely acceptable. I couldn’t find a proper image to
share. So, if you are representing an H2 + N2 = NH3 you can write ‘Fe’
as the catalyst just above the equality sign.Also,
in the enzyme catalyzed reaction it is quite acceptable to denote the
catalyst (enzyme) both the sides of the equality. For Ex: E + S = P +E,
where the overall reaction is just S = P, however the enzyme is
represented as a catalyst.I hope this helps.
