Answer:

The king of Mandava of Calicut popularized the temple art Krishnanattam.

It is a type of dance drama that depicts the life of Lord Krishna and consists of eight plays.

It is believed that King Mandava had a vision of Lord Krishna and thereafter peacock feather was gifted.

All Krishnanattam players used the feather of the peacock to respect their chief’s wish.
