If two lines in a plane do not intersect each other then they are called parallel lines.
Sign of parallel line is l l.
Properties of parallel lines -
(1) The distance between parallel lines does not change, it is same everywhere.
(2) Two lines parallel to a given line in a plane then they are parallel to each other.
(3) Two lines perpendicular to a given line in a plane then they are parallel to each other.
