Heya!

We know that

an = a + (n-1)d

an = 181 (last term of AP)
a= 5 (first term of AP)
d= 13-5 = 8 (common difference)

so calculate 'n'

181 = 5+ (n-1) 8
181 -5 = (n-1)8
176/ 8 = n-1
n-1= 22
n= 23

so,
23 Term of this AP will be 181!

it is given that,
a = 5
d = 8
a n = 181
n = ?
solution:
a n = a + (n-1)d
181 = 5 + (n-1)8
176 = 8n - 8
