Answer:

n=-5

Step-by-step explanation:

a=-12

d=(-10)-(-12)

d=-2

tn=0

tn=a+(n-1)×d

0=-12+(n-1)×-2

(n-1)×-2=0+12

(n-1)×-2=12

(n-1)=12/-2

(n-1)=-6

n=-6+1

n=-5

hope you help this

In given AP 7th term will be equals to 0

Given:

-12,-10,-8..... is a AP

To find:

Find at which term of an ap -12,-10,-8......is 0

Solution:

Given -12,-10,-8..... is a AP

⇒ First term a = -12

⇒ Common difference d = term 2 - term 1 = -10 -(-12) = -10+12 = 2

⇒ Common difference d = 2

Let us assume that nth term in AP = 0

As we know nth term of AP a_{n} = a+(n-1)d

⇒  a+(n-1)d = 0

⇒  -12+(n-1)2 = 0

⇒  2n - 2 = 12

⇒  2n = 14

⇒  n = 14/2 = 7

Therefore, In given AP 7th term will be equals to 0
