Answer:

17 is the answer

Step-by-step explanation:

a=5

d=12-5=7

now, a12=a+11d

=5+11(7)

=77+5=82

now,let an =35+82=117

use, an=a+(n-1)d

117=5+(n-1)7

117=5+7n-7

117=7n-2

119=7n

or n = 119/7=17

hope this helps

The answer is 15th term

Given: 5, 12, 19, 26, 33

To find: The term which is 35 more than 12th term

Solutions: 5, 12, 19, 26, 33.. is a AP series

from the series first time a = 5 and common difference d = 12 - 5 = 7

Here, to find the term which is 35 more than 12th term,

we need to know 12th term

As we know nth term of AP, T_{n} = a+(n-1)d

⇒  T_{12}  = a + (n-1)d = 5 + ( 12 - 1) 7 = 5 + (11)7 = 5 + 77 = 82

⇒ the value of the term which is 35 more than 82 = 82 + 35 = 117

⇒ Let us assume that n^{th} term in AP = 117

⇒ T_{n} = a +(n-1)d = 5 +(n-1)7 = 117

⇒  (n-1)7 = 117 - 5

⇒  (n-1) 7 = 112

⇒  n - 1 = 16      ⇒ n = 15

Therefore, 15th term in given AP is 35 more than 12th term
