Hey mate !!

Here's the answer !!

We know that in an AP we can calculate the first term, common difference, number of terms and the Nth term by using the formula :

Aₓ = a + ( x - 1 ) d

Here x represents the number of terms.

So we know that,

Aₓ = 52, d = 3, a = 1

We need to find x = ?

So substituting in the formula we get,

52 = 1 + ( x - 1 ) 3

=> 52 - 1 = 3 ( x - 1 )

=> 51 = 3 ( x - 1 )

=> ( x - 1 ) = 51 / 3

=> x - 1 = 17

=> x = 17 + 1 = 18 th term.

Hence 52 is the 18th term of the given AP.

Hope my answer helps !!

Cheers !!
