Given A.P series : 121,117,113........


where ,

a= 121

d (common difference)= a2-a1
= 117 -121
= -4


Now,

an= a+(n-1)d

an= 121+(n-1)-4

an= 121-4n+4

an= 125-4n

we know that

For a(n) be negative
a(n)<0
a+(n-1)d <0

so

125 = 4n= 0

n=125/4

n=31.25

Therefore n is 31.25which is not possible . So
the terms equal to n= 32 and above will be negative.
