Let n term be 47. a=3 d=4
a n = a + (n-1)d
47= 3 + (n-1)4
47-3÷4=n-1
44÷4= n-1
n=11+1
n=12


Therefore, 47 is the 12th term of this AP

FIRST TERM ,a=3.
COMMON DIFFERENCE,d=7-3=4.
an=47

THEREFORE,

an=a+(n-1)d
47=3+(n-1)×4
47-3=4n-4
44=4n-4
44+4=4n
48=4n
48/4=n
12=n
n=12
THEREFORE 12th term of the given series is 47.
