The zeroth law of thermodynamics states that there exists a scalar quantity, calledtemperature, which is a property of all thermodynamic systems, such that equality of temperatures is the only condition for the thermodynamic systems to be in thermal equilibrium

♠ Zeroth Law Of Thermodynamics -

- It states that if two bodies are each in thermal equilibrium with some third body, then they are also in equilibrium with each other.

- We can define *temperature* by zeroth law.

♠ First Law Of Thermodynamics-

- It states that the change in the internal energy of a closed system is equal to the amount of heat supplied to the system, minus the amount of work done by the system on its surroundings.

- We can define *internal energy* based on this law.
