The Tigris and Euphrates along with its tributaries, form a major river system in Western Asia. Originating in the Armenian Highlands of eastern Turkey they flow through Syria and Iraq into the Persian Gulf. It is a part of the Palearctic Tigris–Euphrates eco region, which includes Iraq and parts of Turkey, Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Jordan.

Hope this helps.

The Tigris Euphrates river system is the one major river in the west part of Asia that starts from Turkey and move towards Syria via Iraq and then finally going towards the Persian Gulf.

This is also an essential part of the Palearctic Ecoregion that has the part of Turkey, Iraq and even Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Kuwait.
