In the iris of a human eye , there is a smooth fibrous tissue that is also called as ciliary muscle.

These smooth tissues are also known as ciliary muscle.

Hence ciliary muscle is the type of tissue present in the iris of the eye.

While on the contrary, in birds the iris of the eye contains striated muscular tissues.
