blood is a type of connective tissue.
it contains RBCs, WBCs and platelets floating in plasma.
Red Blood Cells contain haemoglobin which carries oxygen throughout the body.
White Blood Cells help fight infection causing microbes.
Platelets help in clotting. They form clots in case of injuries.
