In order to understand who were among the tributary states of the Mongols, one must have the knowledge as to what tributary states, actually are.

Thus, a tributary state is a state that is subordinate to a more powerful neighbor. It was a form of subordination witnessed in pre-modern times.

In regard to Mongol Empire, tookover the Jin Empire of Northern China in 1214 there was a long siege in which later this city shifted to south kai-feng and conquered the Kara Khitai Empire in the western side in 1218.

After the death of their original leader, the dynasty was given to four sons, who then successfully conquered Russia.

Because no such specific regions are listed as options, I have chosen to write about these regions.
