Semi-autonomous organelles are Chloroplast and Mitochondria

Mitochondriaand Chloroplasts are semiautonomous organelles because:-
(i)They are capable of self duplication (replication)
For replication, they have (i)genetic information (DNA),
(ii)Self transcribed RNAs
(iii)Protein-making machinery (ribosomes)
(iv)energy-producing mechanism
(v)Synthesize membrane material and also structural proteins and enzymes for their use.

Hi friend,

Semi autonomous groups of organelles are "CHLOROPLASTS and MITOCHONDRIA".

In simple words,

Semi=half. Autonomous=self preparation.

The main reasons are due to
Chloroplasts prepare their own food in the grana.

Mitochondria synthesis energy by breaking down of molecules.It produces energy.

These two organelles only produce something by ownself.

Hence these organelles are known as self autonomous group.

Hope this helps you..☺☺
