1.NCP was formed after splitting from Congress Party in 1999

2.CPI-M was formed after splitting from CPI.

Such two parties which were formed after splitting actually from their parent party are :

  1. CPI-M: The full form is the Communist Party of India - Marxists. In 1964 this is made after splitting from CPI.communist part of India. Actually, in 1962, Dange's opponents within CPI were jailed when Sino-Indian War broke out. After their release, they threw challenge to his leadership. That's how CPI is divided into two parts.
  2. NCP- The full form is the Nationalist Congress Party . This is founded by Sharad Pawar. In 1999 this is made by splitting of INC, Indian National Congress.
