Hey !!
Here's your answer.. ⬇⬇
✡ Nutrition in Amoeba ✡
↪ Amoeba is a unicellular animal. The mode of nutrition in Amoeba is holozoic.
↪ In Amoeba process of obtaining food is called Phagocytosis ( means cell-feeding )
↪ The various process involved in nutrition are ingestion, digestion, absorption, assimilation, and egestion.
▶ Ingestion :- Amoeba ingests food particles by forming temporary finger like projection known as ' Pseudopodia ' around them so the food is encaptured along with lysosomes into a bag know as food vacuole.
▶ Digestion :- In Amoeba food is digested in the food vacuoles by digestive enzymes.
▶ Absorption :- The digested food present in food vacuoles is absorbed directly into cytoplasm by diffusion.
▶ Assimilation :- A part of food absorbed in cell is used for obtaining energy through respiration. The remaining part is used in the growth of Amoeba.
▶ Egestion :- The undigested food remains in the food vacuole is thrown out of the body by rupturing cell membranes.

THANKS ^-^

HEY!!
NUTRITION IN AMOEBA :-
Nutrition in amoeba is carried out through the following steps:-
✴INGESTION
✔Ingestion involves taking in of food.
Amoeba do not have mouth, therefore food intake may take place from any part of the body.
✴DIGESTION
✔Digestion is the breakdown of complex food molecules into simpler molecules through a series of chemical reactions carried out by various enzymes.
✴ABSORPTION
✔Absorption means taking up digested nutrient molecules into the cells of living organisms. The soluble foods resulting from digestion diffuse through the food vacuoles into the surrounding cytoplasm.
✴ASSIMILATION
✔The absorbed food is synthesised into protoplasm and this is known as assimilation. Some food is synthesised into storage products like glycogen and fats. Synthesis is aided by enzymes.
✴EGESTION
✔The removal of the undigested food is known as egestion. Egestion may occur in any part of the body. The indigestible matter left in the food vacuoles is denser than the surrounding endoplasm. Such vacuoles finally come in contact with the plasmalemma.
