The cell used by a multicellular organism to regenerate is the Totipotent Cell.

  • Totipotent stem cells can divide and produce all the differentiated cells in an organism until the whole organism developed.
  • Examples of totipotent cells are Spores and Zygotes
  • Totipotency represents the cell with the greatest differentiation potential that can differentiate into any embryonic cell.
  • Totipotent stem cells provide all the material support and give rise to the embryo.
