by rubbing to objects against each we cause elctrons to migrate from one body to another which causes two bodies which were neutrally charged to aquire opposite chages . this is because as the electrons migrate from one body the number of protons increases due to the loss of electrons and in the other body which recieves the electrons the number of electrons in tha body increases causing it to aquire a negative charge.
