Answer:

The halide of Benzylic halides are attached to sp3 hybridized carbon.The halides of Benzylic carbon are attached to sp2 hybridized carbon. This is the basic difference between aryl halide and Benzylic halide. The phenomenon of resonance does not take place with Benzylic halide.
