spiny , thorny bushes / plants are found which usssualy have leaves that are in the form of spines so that transpiration takes place slowly as the surface area is less these plants have succculent stems for storing water and their roots are generally long and deep into the  soil to absorb more water .they  also have a waxy substance called cutin on their surface so that their is less transpiration . transpiration would have been more because of high temperature but since they have this layer on the epidermis of the plant less transpiration takes place
