Apis mellifera is more advantageous as compared to apis Cerena indica.

For apiculture, to produce more honey, Apis Mellifera is more advantageous as it collects more honey and due to it's structural adaptations as compared to Apis Cerena indica.

hoped helped u :))

the apis mellifera(the italian bee) is more advantageous than apis cerena indica(the indian bee) because A.mellifera somewhat sting less. they have high honey collecting capacity. they even stay in their beehives for long periods and they breed very well.

thank you..
