Organ transplantation is a medical phenomenon in which organ of a person who is healthy is removed and placed in the body of another person whose organ is deceased or infected. Organs that are transplanted are liver and kidney.  Different immunosuppressants are given to patients e.g. corticosteroids and cyclosporine that suppress the activity of the immune system thus preventing the attack of body to the foreign organ.
