South west monsoon causes rainfall in Malabar Coast.
Explanation:
The Arabian Sea branch of south west monsoon is the cause for some rainfall in the "Malabar Coast". Since it is the first region which is affected by "southern west monsoon", the Malabar Coast receives heavy rainfall in the month between "June and July" but the Coromandal coast gets most of the rainfall from north east monsoon winds. This occurs in between November and December.
