Provided that:

★ Case number first:

  • Acceleration = 2.5 m/s sq.
  • Mass = 7.5 kilograms
  • Force = ???

★ Case number second:

  • Acceleration = 1.5 m/s sq.
  • Mass = 12 kilograms
  • Force = ???

Using concept:

★ Newton's scond law of motion that tell us about the formula of force.

Using formula:

  • F = ma

Where, a denotes acceleration, F denotes force and m denotes mass.

Required solution:

★ Finding force in case first!

→ Force = Mass · Acceleration

→ F = m · a

→ F = ma

→ F = 7.5(2.5)

→ F = 18.75 N

  • Force = 18.75 Newton

★ Finding force in case second!

→ Force = Mass · Acceleration

→ F = m · a

→ F = ma

→ F = 12(1.2)

→ F = 18 N

  • Force = 18 Newton

★ Which one required more force!?

  • Case 2nd required more force that is an object of acceleration = 1.5 m/s sq. and mass = 12 kilograms.
