While arranging the students of standard 9 in rows,if two rows are reduced, then one more student has to be arranged in each of the remaining rows and if three more rows are formed, then one student has to be taken off from each previously arranged rows.Find the number of students in the class.

total rows =9

two rows are reduce

then remaining rows =9-2=7

let 3 students are sitting in each row then

no. of students 7*3=21

3 rows are formed and also one students is sitting in each row already

then according your question

one student has to be taken off from each row then

total students

2*7+3+7=24
