While creating an aquarium did u take care not to put an aquatic animal which would eat others? What would have happened other wise?
Make groups and discuss how each of the above groups of organisms are dependent on each other
Write the aquatic organisms in order of who eats whom and form a chain of atleast three steps
Would you consider any one group of organisms to be a primary importance? Why or why not?

Answer:

  1. yes care must be taken to put aquatic animals that eat each other in an aquarium because if not then the food chain won't complete and the ecosystem of aquarium won't be stable.
  2. this food chain has 3 levels- algae, herbivores and carnivores.
  3. algae has primary importance since it's photosynthetic in nature thus it's the primary source of food.
