Answer:

Hey Mate,

Correction in Question : #Sin 20° = 0.342 not 0.242

#Figure is attach with the answer.

Speed of plane = 200 km/ hr

=> ( 200 × 5/18 )

=> ( 500/9 ) m/s

Distance = 500/9 × 54

=> 500×6

=> 3000 m = 3 K.M

AC = 3 K.M.

∠B = 20°

Height ( BC ) = X

Sin 20° = Opposite/ Hypotenuse

Sin 20° = BC/ AC                     ( #Sin 20° = 0.342 )

0.342 = BC/ 3

BC = 3 × 0.342

BC = 1.026 K.M
