while playing in a park a child was stung by wasp.some elders suggested him applying paste of baking soda and others lemon juice as remedy. which remedy do you think is appropriate and why?

According to me baking soda is the appropriate remedy as stung of wasp consists of formic acid to neutralize the effect of acid we had to apply a base and baking soda works as base .
when we rub with baking soda it will react with acid and form salt and water
