While they are playing together, Sam picks up his little brother Joe. Think about the force that acts on Joe. a) in which direction does this force act? b) What are the two objects that are interacting? c) Draw a diagram to show the force that acts on Joe. Take care to label the force arrow correctly.

I've made a few assumption on the forces acted on them: lifting force, weight, frictional force, gravitational force, contact force, action force, reaction force and air resistance.

I think keep it simple.... They have asked acting force on joe. Obviously lifting force. Gravitational force is always there. But sam's force counters the gravitational force. And two objects that are interacting are sam's hands and joe. And the upward lifting arrow.

Correct me if i am wrong. Not denying the other answers but keeping it simple. I think this answer is more suitable
