While travelling, John left destination A at 9 am. Driving until 7 pm, he travelled a total of 500 miles. The next day, John left at 9 am and drove until 5 pm, covering 270 miles. What was the average speed for both days, while driving?

Starting time- 9AM

Ending time-7PM

Distance covered-500miles

Take taken-10 hours

Day 2-  

Starting time- 9AM

Ending time-5PM

Distance covered-270 miles

Time taken-8 hours

Average speed = 500 + 270 ÷10 + 8

                          = 770/18

*We convert miles into kilometers*

=1239.19/18

=68.84 Kilometers per hour
