while writing business letters, do we have to use i or we?
i had confusion in the 2 following cases

1) you are ashwin/ashwini of 32 park street haryana. write a letter to the chief officer of the horticulture department complaining about the chief gardener.

2)you are rahul. write a letter to success coaching institute asking about transport, fee structure, and other details

in which case do we use i and in which case do we use we?

In the second cases u have to include "I" because here in the above mentioned case a particular name has been given. We will be used when you are writing a letter as a representative of a community or group so in the first case you will use 'we' because you are complaining on behalf of a community.
