White diluting an acid why is it recommended that the acid should be added to water and not water to the acid

So much heat is released that the solution may boil very violently, splashing concentrated acid out of the container and all this because the reaction is exothermic. On the other hand, adding acid to water, the solution that forms is very dilute and the small amount of heat released is not enough to vaporize it.

because when we dilute any acid then we add more water than acid for decrise efact of acid but when we add more acid than water than this is danger
