Hi friend ✨✨❤✌
Whittaker's five kingdom classification .....
FIVE KINGDOM SYSTEM OF CLASSIFICATION . Whittaker's (1959)has classified the living organisms into following five kingdoms (=broad categories)
1.KINGDOM MONERA
This is divided into two sub kingdom
.....Archae -Most archaebacteria are autotrophs and only a few , photosynthesis . Archaebacteria derive energy for their metabolic activities ,from the oxidation of chemical energy sources ,such as the reduced gases like ammonia ,methane etc.
Archaebacteria are divided into three groups ;-
1} Methagons
2} Thermoacidophiles
3}Halophiles
AND EUBACTERIA.....
2.KINGDOM PROTISTA
This group includes many kinds of unicellular eukaryotic organisms such as unicellular algae ,protozons and fungi..
3.KINGDOM FUNGI
Fungi 1.Simple non green plants which are not photosynthesis .They are heterotrophic and eukaryotic organisms..Puccinia ,albugo etc are parasites.
4.KINGDOM PLANTAE
1.Growth in plants is generally indefine due to presence of growing point.
2.Reserve food of plants is starch and lipids
3They are eukaryotic ,that is their each cell has a nucleus .
5.KINGDOM ANIMALIA
1.Animals have well less eukaryotic cells ..
2.Growth of animals is limited and stops after reaching maturity .
3.Most animals are mobile (locomotory )).
Hope it is helpful...✨✨✨
