Who according to you , is the tragic hero -Caesar or Brutus? Give suitable reason

I think Brutus because he came to Caesar house just to invite him to Senate house as he said he will give crown to him and in starting Caesar disagree but at least he agrees with Brutus then caesar gone to Senate house

Both Caesar and Brutus witness tragic events in their life. Caesar was killed by the group of conspirators among whom was his dearest friend Brutus. On the other hand, Brutus also faces neglect and humility by the people of Rome of killing Caesar. He lost his friend and the love of the people and gained hatred and neglect in return. For me, Brutus can be considered to undergo much tragedy. Although he was alive his life became worse than death.
