Those who joined the sangha were brahmins , Kshatriyas , merchants , labourers , barbers , courtesans and slaves . Men can join it but women can't .

Brahmins, Merchants, Labourers, Barbers, Slaves, Kshatriyas and courtesans could join the sangha. Only men could join. Women cant
