A Rag-picker, or Chiffonnier, is term for someone who makes a living by rummaging through refuse in the streets to collect material for salvage. Scraps of cloth and paper could be turned into cardboard, broken glass could be melted down and reused, and even dead cats and dogs could be skinned to make clothes.

Rag pickers are those who pick plastic and recyclable items from the garbage.
These rag pickers are cleaning and separating the reusable (or recyclable) material and unrecyclable material.
Also these rag pickers don't get income the things they collect are things from which they can earn money. Some times there is a big conflict between the rag pickers for a small bottle as that even is important them.In this way Rag pickers play a major role in cleaning our surroundings and also the whole nation.
