Modern Humans (Homosapiens) are not evolved from apes or monkeys,but they were similar to some primates of Africa named homo erectus evolved in about two million years ago.
They spread out from there for the search of food, shelter and to settle down in a safe spot.
So some of our ancestors spread in Europe, Asia,America and Australia.
