Hey,
Natural magnets are not discovered but they are found by one of person who Grazes Sheep's.
One day while he was grazing his sheep's he found something had attached to his stick which he used to Walk with sheep and to control them .Then he find that it's not a rock it's a metal and then he named it has mages..
It's a Greek word has it's modified and we call it has magnet.

On the nail of a sheep a hard material stuck and he experiment that it was stucking on every iron ore and material as he found natural magnet...
