Vasco da Gama discovered the sea route.

There main aim was to trade i.e. buying grains, rice , black pepper etc . As we know that economycaly our India ruined it affects in less. it's loss of Indian people and great gain of Portuguese sailors , tons and quintals of grains and pepper are transpoted to the ship of the sailors and sold it out at high price , by seeing Britain from all way looted India .

So it affect India not only negatively but also Britain affect is great .

Hope it help you ((right Ans))
