Who dound the silk and how he /she found the silk . Which type of silk did they found first?

Time of discovery of silk is unknown. It was found by an chinese empress Huang- Ti . She was asked to find out the cause of damage of mulberry leaves. She noticed there were shining cocoon like structure around leaves . Suddenly a cocoon dropped into her cup of tea and thousands of delicate and soft threads come out from it . This is how the silk was discovered in China and they found mulberry silk firstly.
