Answer:-
Although many of the principles and problems of heavier- than-air flight were known, the fundamental contribution of the Wright brothers cannot be overestimated. Not only did they achieve the first successful manned flights but in the process of doing so created aeronautics: They worked out how to control craft in all three dimensions, worked out the correct construction of airscews, conceived the idea of the biplane, designed the first aero engine light enough from scratch, and through the invention of the first wind tunnel worked out what the correct angles of attack and aerofoil for fixes wings should be. They were creative geniuses and not mere inventive mechanics.
