According to ancient scriptures and Hindu beliefs, The region of Kerala was made when Sage Parashurama, an avatar of Lord Vishnu throw axe on Arabian sea. The sea was parted to form Kerala.
But, Kerala Piravi (Birth of kerala) is on November 1, 1985
