the constitution of India was framed by constituent assembly and it was formed as by the following ways
first the constituent assembly was elected
second at the time of partition the Muslim League was removed from it
thirdly the draught committee was formed as Dr BR Ambedkar and its president
the president of constituent assembly was Rajendra Prasad
after that the drafting committee form constitution as a draught and then discussion was created on each draught clause by clause and after this a new constitution of India formed

On December 11, 1946, the Assembly elected Dr Rajendra Prasad as its permanent Chairman. The Constituent Assembly set up 13 committees for framing the constitution including a Drafting Committee under the Chairmanship of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
