ANSWER :  

Central Insecticide Board (CIB), gives advice or suggestions to Government of India regarding implementation of insecticide  Act.

Insecticide Act was made in 1968. The objectives of this  insecticide Act are : to control and monitoring of import of insecticides , Production and Transportation of insecticides and Proper use of insecticides in order to prevent human beings and animals from their harmful effects.

This Act was implemented to check adulteration and discrepancies in the insecticides.

Answer:

The Central Government shall, as soon as may be, constitute a Board to be called the Central Insecticides Board to advise the Central Government and State Governments on technical matters arising out of administration of this Act and to carry out the other functions assigned to the Board by or under this Act.
