\bigstar Question:

  • Find the value of A/B

\bigstar Given:

  • A + B = 72
  • A - B = 24

\bigstarTo find:

  • The value of A/B.

\bigstar Solution:

First of all,

A + B = 72 ......(i)

A - B = 24 ........(ii)

Now by adding both the equations we get:

A + B + A - B = 72 + 24

\implies 2A = 96

( B got cancelled)

\implies A = 96/2

\implies \boxed{A \:= \:48}

Now, by putting the value of A in equation (i) we get,

A + B = 72

\implies 48 + B = 72

\implies B = 72 - 48

\implies \boxed{B = 24}

\therefore A/B = 48/24

\impliesA/B = 2

\bigstarAnswer:

\therefore Value of \boxed{A/B\:\:is\: \:2.}
