On 14 July 1789, the king commanded the army to move into the city. People thought that the king would soon order the army to fire upon them. So some 7000 men and women form a peoples' militia. They are searching for arms or guns. They thought that in Bastille fortress prison, there are too much arms, guns or ammunition. So, they( people's milta) stormed the Bastille fortress prison.
