Who here has read a wrinkle in time?
I am now and tell me what you think cause to me It´s ok but I'd prefure percy jackson or harry potter any day... Anyone else?

Yeah, I've read it. And believe me there ain't any book in the world that's tedious that this, I mean it.

The story takes about 100 pages of tedious, banal dialogue, to get to the point where you're told that this is a battle against Evil, and all you need is love. But everything is so oversimplified and so sketchy.

I liked Meg in the beginning, she was a believable character, filled with her own problems, and I really wanted for things to work out for her. But when she went on her journey, and especially since she got to that dreadful communist planet, she got hysterical. She did not “say” anything for half of the book!

I dunno you'd believe it or not but what I felt, as I read this book, was a blank slate, a void, an empty room. Haha.. Being true, I didn't find it spectacular or upto that level.

And yeah, I find PJO and HP far better and more intense than this book (a wrinkle in time).
