Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata, often known as J.R.D Tata was born on July 29, 1904 in Paris and died on November 29, 1933 in Geneva, Switzerland.
In 1929, he bacame India's first licensed pilot. In 1948, he established India's first international airline, Air India International. In 1992, he was honoured with India's highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna and in 1955, the Padma Vibhushan for his valuable contributions as a businessman.
